Endangered - Expanding the populations of engangered wildlife
-= ENDANGERED =-
The Game That's Wild!
Around the world there are many species at risk of disappearing and becoming permanently extinct. The goal of the "ENDANGERED" Game is to raise awareness about this important (and adorable) creatures. The more people who know about how special they are the more efforts there will be to EXPAND the populations and help them come back to healthy levels. Nobody wants to read a preachy boring booklet though, and wildlife documentaries put us to sleep. So, we decided to make a fun game, that's a blast to play, and subtly teaches as it goes. Based on the wildly successful (see what we did there?!?) open-source game "2048" with more than 200 million downloads! Instead of matching boring numbers, now you can play with cute animals. Budgets being what they are, we turned to open-source and AI tools to make the game quickly and efficiently. The animals are all created by Midjourney, the tiled jungle backgrounds come from Stable Diffusion, the animal descriptions were generated with ChatGPT4 Our ambition is to further develop this prototype, both as an example of how open-source AI tools can be used to efficiently make Games For Change, and to raise funds for wildlife conservation. |
Why do we care? This game was created by Usiku Games in Nairobi, Kenya. We strongly believe that serious games can be an effective tool for doing good in the world, but also for creating economic opportunities (jobs!) for the thousands of talented youth across Africa, who have a passion for making games.

That was fun. Très addictive!
I love the Game so far. I can't stop playing it as it is educational and enjoyable. I I learnt about the cheetah,I had just remained with one move to complete and Win but I failed. I will try it more times to learn about the Chimpanzee...since it is the last one😋.
